WATERBURY- Mr. Peter P. Petrok age 91 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on September 20th 2016 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Marie "Josephine" (Guerrera) Petrok
Peter was born March 16th 1925 in Oakville, CT the son of the late Carmine and Josephine (Manna) Petrok. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and proudly served his country with the US Navy during WWII. Peter spent many years working as a tool grinder for VR Wesson until his retirement and enjoyed gardening and golfing. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Besides his wife Josephine, Peter is survived by his daughter, Karen Petrok of Waterbury in addition to several other extended family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mr. Petrok on Monday, September 26th 2016 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 309 South Main St Waterbury, CT, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours.
