WATERBURY - Philip Gambino III, age 20, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Philip was born July 11th 1999 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Philip and Laurie (Longo) Gambino Jr. He was educated in local schools and worked as a warehouse worker at Macy's Warehouse in Cheshire. Philip enjoyed skateboarding, music, and playing video games. He was always happiest while spending time with his girlfriend Morgan, his family, and especially his nephew Lucas with whom he had a special bond.
Left to cherish his memories and honor Philip's love and legacy, besides his parents, are his girlfriend Morgan Pepin, his sisters; Aleah and Kellie Gambino, his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Ruth (McGrath) Longo and his paternal grandparents, Philip and Karen (Farina) Gambino Sr., all of Waterbury as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins other extended family members and many friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Gambino will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours.
