THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF PHILLIP LANGDO
WATERBURY - Phillip J. Langdo age 69 of Waterbury passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Smilow Hospital Center of Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. He was the loving husband of Kathleen (Donahue) Langdo. .
Phillip was born on October 9, 1947 in Madawaska Maine the son of the late Ernest J and Ursula (Dionne) Langdo. Phillip who was affectionately known as "Big Guy" was a graduate of Croft High School and worked for many years at Bristol Babcock (now Emerson) as a lead repairman in the Electronics Division. Phillip loved horses was a Past President of the Prospect Horseman's Club, was a Harley enthusiast, was a member of the Franco American Club where he also served as a Past President. He loved camping with his family, traveling to their timeshare in Aruba but most of all was always there when someone need a helping hand, ready to assist, whenever and wherever. He was a devoted son, husband, father, brother and friend and he will be sadly missed by his family and all who were blessed to know and love him. He was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Church.
Besides his devoted wife of 33 years, Phillip leaves his daughter, Ashley Kiefer and her husband, Brian of Oakville and his sister, Theresa Lund and her husband, Bill of Naugatuck as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Langdo will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Church Bentwood Dr. Waterbury at 9:30 a.m. Those planning to attend are kindly invited to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
