AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Naugatuck CT. Ms. Priscilla C. Maynard age 70, of Millville Ave. Naugatuck, died peacefully Sunday May 15th 2011 at her home with her loving daughter at her side after a brief illness.
Ms. Maynard was born November 20th 1940 in Waterbury CT the daughter of the late Rannie and Alice (Fortier) Cyr. She was a graduate of Crosby High School and worked as a quality control inspector for many years at Sherwood Medical Group. Priscilla was a long time resident of Naugatuck and was a member of the Beacon Falls Congregational Church. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Wolcott bowling league. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and gardening, but most importantly she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and spoiling them at every opportunity.
Among her survivors are her son, Andrew Maynard of Ocala FL, her daughter Cynthia Dias of Naugatuck, her brothers; Timothy Cyr, of North Carolina, Richard Cyr of Cape Cod, MA and Paul Johnson, of Wolcott; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Maynard, her grandson Jason Lantieri, her brother, Rannie Cyr Jr. and her sisters, Sandra Garceau, Diane Kapustay, and Debra Wells.
Funeral Services for Ms. Maynard will be held on Friday May 20th, at 10:00a.m. at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St, Waterbury. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00am-700pm.
