THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF RALPH McCLINTOCK

Retired Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

Litchfield - Ralph Bartlett McClintock age 94 of Litchfield passed away peacefully at his home in Litchfield surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, September 16th 2019. Ralph was born December 26th 1924 in Enid Oklahoma, the son of the late Ralph A. and Nancy (Gustin) McClintock. He was raised in Enid and attended local schools there. He later attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned his degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Ralph proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was stationed in France, where he met and married his beloved wife Ann Marie Schurck, who was employed as an interpreter by the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1955 at the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He worked as an engineer for General Electric Corporation in Schenectady, New York where he was employed until his retirement.
After retirement Ralph began a project to identify the people in several generations of old family photographs, some dating as far back as 1820, and transferred them onto digital media for future generations, so that his family's history would not be lost. He was a member of The National Society Sons of The American Revolution, and was descended from William Bruce who served in the North Carolina Militia during 1780 - 1781.
Ralph will be remembered by all who knew him as a "True Southern Gentleman" for his kind heart and thoughtful manner. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love such a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend.

Left to cherish his memory, and honor his legacy are his children; Patrick McClintock and wife Janice of Maryland, daughter-in-law Susan McClintock of New York, and Frank McClintock and wife Sharon of Litchfield, with whom Ralph made his home. He also leaves his sister Nancy Kraft of Kansas as well as his eight grandchildren; Patrick Jr., Christopher, Tracie, Amanda, Jeremy, Mark, Marnie, and Miranda. Twelve great-grandchildren Remy, Jessica, Sarah, Joshua, Ella, Grayson, Sylvie, Logan, Caleb, Alexis, Shianne, and Mason; and a great-great-granddaughter Inara. He also leaves, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Ann McClintock, his son Michael McClintock, and his sister Patsy Pierce.

The McClintock family would like to thank Ralph's physician Dr. Anthony Cusano, and the entire staff of Waterbury Vitas Hospice Care for all of the loving care and compassionate support given to Ralph and his family during his final days.

At Ralph's request there will be no calling hours, and private interment will be in the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery, Middletown CT, at the convenience of the family.
