AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, OAKVILLE - Raymond Timothy Hardwick age 50 formerly of Columbia Boulevard, Waterbury, died Friday evening at Meridian Manor surrounded by his family after a long illness.
Raymond was born December 9, 1958 in Waterbury a son of Helen (Sheehan) (Hardwick) Smith and the late Raymond R. Hardwick and was a lifelong Waterbury resident. He was a graduate of Crosby High School . Ray worked as a painter for various local contractors.
Besides his mother and step father George Smith of Waterbury, he leaves his longtime companion Vianne Tutoli of Waterbury, a brother Todd Hardwick of Waterbury, two sisters; Cheryl Trzaski and her husband Raymond of Waterbury, Phyllis Hardwick of Clinton, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Tuesday at 11 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Loreto Church . Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family. Friends may call at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville on Monday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Ray's family would like to thank the staff at Meridian Manor for their outstanding care, support and compassion extended to Ray and his family.
