WELL LOVED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS

WATERTOWN - Raymond G. Lamoureux Jr, age 75 of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Donata (Digliani) Lamoureux.

Raymond was born on Mach 30, 1945 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Raymond G. and Katherine (Marzano) Lamoureux. He was a graduate of Post College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He spent many years working for Borough of Naugatuck until his retirement. He proudly served his country with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #22 in Thomaston. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching TV game shows and camping.

Raymond loved his family and grandchildren. One of his favorite things to do was take long drives with his wife and furry companion, Ernie. He always looked forward to spending time with his family, going to parties and picnics and singing to the oldies. Raymond was well loved and liked by a multitude of friends and family who will greatly miss him.

Left to cherish the many memories of Raymond and carry on his legacy, besides his wife, Donata of 52 years are his children, Raymond V. Lamoureux and his wife, Monica of West Hartford, and their children; Jameson, Graham, and Reid, his daughter, Carla Karmen of Brattleboro VT. He also leaves his siblings, Fred Lamoureux and his wife, Linda of Cheshire, Ilene Bird and her husband, Kevin of Naugatuck, Carol Cipollone and her husband, Mark of Ledyard, and Mary Ellen Hughes and her husband, Burt of Naugatuck as well as his many nieces and nephews, and his beloved companion, Ernie.

Graveside funeral services with full military honors for Mr. Lamoureux will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery. 95 Platt Rd Watertown.
