WATERBURY - Raymond L. Soule, age 70, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Waterbury Hospital on January 27th 2014 after a brief illness.
Ray was born September 12th 1943, the son of the late Luther and Mary (Richmond) Soule. He was born and raised in Waterbury where he attended local schools. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed taking trips and excursion with his friends at the Saint Vincent DePaul Mission Society.
Raymond's family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at the Saint Vincent DePaul Mission Society for the loving care, attention, and friendship that they have provided to Ray especially during his later years.
Ray is survived by his sister, Janice Loomis and her husband Bruce of Bethany and several cousins, as well as many friends.
A memorial service for Mr. Soule will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2014 at 11:00am at South Congregational Church 160 Piedmont St. Waterbury, CT. There are no calling hours and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Raymond's memory can be made to the South Congregational Church Kitchen Renovation Fund at 160 Piedmont St Waterbury CT 06706.
