JUPITER FL – Rebecca White, age 68, of Micco, Florida passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022, at the Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Jupiter, FL.
Becky was born in Waterbury, CT, on January 10, 1954, the daughter of the late Robert and Joyce (Pickering) White. She was educated in local schools and was employed for the City of Waterbury in the Education Payroll office prior to re-locating to Florida with her life-long companion, Romaine Staples. Becky and Romaine both loved being close to the ocean and the warm weather. Becky loved animals and was a true and sincere friend who cared deeply for those close to her. She was fun-loving, had a heart of gold, and was always willing to help others. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory besides her companion, Romaine Staples, are her sister, Janice White of Oakville and her brother, David, and his wife Judy of Watertown. She is also survived by her nieces, Marissa and Alicia and Alicia’s husband Adam. She leaves behind three great nephews, Preston, Jaxon and Cameron and one great niece, Aubrey.
Graveside funeral services for Ms. White will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, North Street in Watertown, CT.
