WATERBURY– It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Renee C. Ward on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.

Renee was born on May 27th, 1971, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Larry Ward and Noreen Timmons. A proud graduate of Wilby High School. Renee loved to cook, talk on the phone, and spend time with her son and grandchildren. To know Renee was to love her. She was the life of any social gathering and made it her mission to ensure that everyone felt welcome. Renee was a Medical Billing Specialist for 10+ years. Renee also cherished all her many memories spent with her loving family.

Left to cherish Renee’s memories are her son, Ronald Bellamy Jr and his fiancée, Vilmaliz Pacheco of Jacksonville, FL, her siblings; Raquell Powell (James) and Lamont Butler of Waterbury, Leniecia Powdar (Ward) of Conyers, Georgia, her two grandchildren: Ronald Bellamy III and King Bellamy of Jacksonville, FL and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Ward family on Thursday, June 20th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The repass will be held at the Goodwill lodge, 1325 North Elm Street, Waterbury, CT 06704 immediately following the service.
