THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF RICHARD CAROSIELLI
PALMCITY FL - Richard Anthony Carosielli age 67, of Palm City, FL originally of Lancaster, PA and Berlin, CT passed away, at his home in Palm City, FL on March 18th 2018.
Richard was born in Bridgeport, CT to Joan and Michael Carosielli on July 3, 1950 and graduated from Conestoga Valley High School, where he served as his class President and athletics were his passion. Rick graduated having earned seven varsity letters and was a Lancaster County all-star member in football, basketball, and track. He captured the County and District High and Low Hurdles title and the state runner up title. At the University of Pittsburgh, Rick served as Captain of the track team where he went on to achieve being the Big Four hurdles champion. Upon graduation, Rick took his first professional job where over the next 27 years, he excelled in his career to achieve his position of Vice President of Personal Lines with The Harford Insurance Group.
Rick was a kind hearted, generous man of conviction and integrity. His family and his many friends, meant everything to him. He will be warmly remembered for his fun, outgoing, and genuine personality that lit up the lives of everyone around him.
Rick is survived by his loving family who will all miss him dearly. His Mother, Joan; Children, Jennifer (John) and Marc, Sister Sharon (Herb), Sister in Law Ann (Don), five Grandchildren; Matthew, Michael, Jared, Ashlan, and Jordan, several nieces, nephews and Aunt Eleanor Sudyam. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael and brother, Michael, Jr.
A private Christian burial will occur at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Watertown, CT on April 7, 2018 at 10:30am, with a celebration of Rick's life to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Conestoga Valley High School, C/O - Hall of Fame, Zack Kraft, 2110 Horseshoe Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. Casey' Eastside Memorial Funeral Home in Waterbury has been entrusted to assist the family with local arrangements.
