WATERBURY - Richard M. Gorman, Jr., 75, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Saint Mary's Hospital.
Richard got much pleasure out of living a simple life. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his two sons and three grandsons. He spent over 42 years dedicated to his work as an electrician with the IBEW Loc. 488 union.
He is survived by his two sons, Richard M. Gorman III and his wife, Edna Cancino, and Philip N. Gorman and his wife, Jaimelyn; his cousin Carol Williams of Waterbury; and his three grandchildren, Joshua Gorman, and Gabriel and Pablo Bravo- Cancino.
Funeral services for Mr. Gorman will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury with service following at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. To honor Richard's memory and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to Christian Children's Fund at 2821 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294.
