WOLCOTT- It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Richard K. “Rich” Adams age 68 of Wolcott announce his unexpected passing at home on Thursday September 19, 2024.
Richard was born on June 13, 1956, in Mt Holly NJ the son of the late Robert Glenden Adams Sr, and Frances Dunigan Adams. Along with his father, Rich is now re-united with his brother Bob and beloved aunt, Anna May Talbot. He graduated from Wolcott High School and went on to work at Cummerford and Shea and then was a rigger for Brave Equipment. His home away from home was the Bristol Fish and Game where he was a lifetime member and enjoyed hunting, cooking for game dinners and outdoor recreation, including fishing with his friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Barabra Adams and Joe Pilloise of Wolcott, sister-in-law, Rosanne Adams of Surfside Beach SC, his uncle Claude Talbot of Wolcott, cousins; Michael Talbot and his wife Maureen and Philip Talbot and his wife Donna all of Wolcott. He also leaves his nephews; Jeffrey Adams and his wife Tamar of Woodbury, and Kevin Adams of Surfside Beach SC, as well as his extended family members; Adam and Manjie Talbot, Jonathan, Alex, Connor, Tyler and Jacob Talbot and his best friend, Doug Medina and other friends and relatives too many to mention.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2024 when visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705. A brief prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
