THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF RICHARD T. TURPIN
WATERBURY - Richard T. Turpin, age 74 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 3, 2019.
Mr. Turpin was born on November 11, 1944 in Stamford, the son of the late Theodore and Josephine (Drust) Turpin. He was educated in local schools and proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp and saw active duty in the Vietnam War. He worked for many years as a Production Control Manager.
His spirit will live on forever through his V.A. Primary Care Physician, Dr Juliette Spelman MD, and his home based primary care family, Karen, Alison, Mindy and Donna.
Richard leaves no known survivors other than those mentioned above who have cared for him with deep love and affection for the past many years.
Funeral services with full military honors for Mr. Turpin will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the CT Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane Middletown CT. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St. Waterbury has been honored and proud to care for this distinguished veteran. Mr. Turpin was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and gave generously to the Prospect VFW Post 8075. He wanted those who cared about him to do the same.
