AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Wolcott Robert P. Cibelli - age 70, of Edgemont Lane, Wolcott, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Cibelli was born June 28th 1939 in Torino, Italy, the son of the late Luigi & Maria (Marinucci) Cibelli. He immigrated to the United States with his parents as a young man and began working as a building contractor, helping to build many commercial building in the New Haven area before retiring and moving to Wolcott. Robert was an accomplished painter and enjoyed working with oil paints.
Among his survivors are his long time friend and companion, Marie Doyle of Wolcott who he affectionately referred to as "My Mary". His four daughters Patricia, Annie, Tricia, and Amy as well as his three grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Cibelli will be held privately at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
