Robert L. Diemand age 74 of Woodbury, CT died peacefully on June 9, 2015, at Village Green Convalescent Home in Waterbury after a long illness. He was the husband of Mary Rose (Ko) Diemand.
Robert was born September 14, 1942 the son of the late J. Helen Diemand and Edwin A. Diemand. Bob grew up in Middlebury, attending Westminster School in Simsbury CT and graduating from Fairfield University and has lived most of his adult life in Woodbury.
Besides his wife Mary of Woodbury, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Diemand Cassidy of Raleigh, NC, and Kelly Diemand of New York City, his brother Dennis Diemand and his wife Rosalind of Venice, FL; and Milford, CT. He is also survived by a niece, Heather Diemand of San Diego, and a nephew Timothy (Randi) Diemand of Madison, CT. He is predeceased by his sister, Judy Diemand.
A graveside service and burial will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Old Middlebury Cemetery on CT RT 64 West at 11 A.M. Eastside Memorial A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center in Waterbury has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodbury Ambulance Association at P.O. Box 581 in Woodbury, CT 06798.
