THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ROBERT P. DUBAUSKAS
WATERTOWN - Robert P. Dubauskas - It is with great sadness and sorrow that we share that Robert Paul Dubauskas, beloved son of Kenneth and Angela (Valente) Dubauskas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 10, 2020. Robert was born on January 21, 1963 in Waterbury, CT. He was 57 years old when he passed on to eternal life. He was loved deeply by his family and friends.
Robert loved being at the many gatherings a large family like ours can have. In 1969 our family moved to Oakville. Robert attended Watertown schools. He was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1981. Robert went on to WESCONN in Danbury where he graduated from the School of Business in 1985. After graduation Robert's career included many sales positions in various industries. At the time of his untimely death, Robert was employed at Premier Subaru of Watertown. Robert enjoyed giving back to his community. He was a member of several groups such as the Knights of Columbus in Watertown and since 2014 was a member of the Sons of Veterans of the American Legion Oakville Post 195. Robert enjoyed the outdoors. He loved being at the beaches on the Cape and In Rhode Island. The beach was his " happy place". He loved camping and driving his jet ski at Bantam Lake. Fishing and hiking have always been some of his many favorites.
Robert had a passionate love for dogs, especially his own dog Brutus. For those that know Robert you know he loved music, going to concerts and shooting off fireworks .... just because.
Robert's love for life was infectious. He always made you laugh. We will miss him terribly.
Besides his parents, Robert leaves behind his life long partner, Donald Beaulieu of Watertown where Robert spent most of his adult life. He is survived by his brother, Stephen (wife Johanna) Dubauskas of Oakville, and three sisters, Cathy (husband Steve) McDonald of Litchfield, sister Dana (husband Mark) Barr of Falmouth, MA and sister, Alison (husband Jeff) Kamuda of Groveland, MA. Robert had nine nieces and nephews and a great niece and two great nephews as well as a large extended family and many friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St. Oakville CT 06779. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown CT. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
