Roberto Leon Alvarado

Roberto Leon Alvarado age 84 passed away peacefully on Friday February 19, 2016 at the West Haven VA Medical Center. Roberto was born in Adjuntas Puerto Rico the son of the late Marcos Leon and Juana Conrado Alvarado. He was a veteran of the US Army and saw combat during the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver in Puerto Rico loved fixing bicycles and was a antique car enthusiast. He leaves five children, Roberto, Wanda Ivette, Karen, Wanda Ivelisee and Luis and several brothers and sisters, Funeral services for Mr Alvarado will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7:00pm at Caseys Eastside Memorial, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Friends and relatives may visit with Roberto's family on Thursday eveing from 5:00 till 7:00pm. Burial with full military honors will take place on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the CT Veterans Cemetery Bow Lane Midddletown at a time to be announced.
