The Casey Family is honored to be caring for and assisting the family of Rocco "Rocky" Capobianco.
WOODBURY - It is with great sadness that the family of Rocco "Rocky" Martin Capobianco, 78, of Woodbury, announces his passing on April 15, 2021, after a brief, unexpected illness.
Rocky touched the lives of many and spent much of his life in service to others. Rocky was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, dedicated business owner of Family Cycle in Waterbury, with his brother and business partner John Capobianco, and the epitome of a family man. Rocky's focus in life was to help others and it shined through in everything he did.
Rocky was known as "Honda Man" by many, and anyone around him knew that his universe centered around his family. The life of the party at family dinners and on annual vacations to Walt Disney World, he was always quick with a joke and his sense of humor was infectious.
Rocky had the ability to make the people around him feel like they mattered and was truly unforgettable in every sense of the word.
Rocky joins his high school sweetheart and wife, Elaine, and his parents, John and Rose Bianco, in heaven. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Lisa (Derek) Daunis and Dana (Jesse) Silva, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 222 W. Main St., Waterbury.
