AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Roland Lagasse Jr, age 51, of Donahue St, Torrington, died unexpectedly Friday in Torrington. He was the son of Rosemarie (Ciaramella) Lagasse and Roland Lagasse Sr.
Roland was born in Waterbury, on September 21, 1956 and was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical School in Torrington. He was employed as a driver of semi trailers doing long haul runs. For most of his life he had been an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Driving, repairing, building and living the motorcycle life was important to Roly but second only to the love and care of his mother, children and close friends. He was the President of the Forbidden Motorcycle Club in Torrington and he was a loyal, son, father and friend.
Besides his loving mother RoseMarie of Waterbury and his father, Roland Sr , Roland is survived by his three children; Aaron Lagasse of Carthege NY, Craig Lagasse of Torrington and Shawna Rose Lagasse of Torrington as well as one grandson, Avery Lagasse. He also leaves his longtime companion, Joyce Lesieur, his many dear cousins and too many loyal friends to mention but whom will not be forgotten.
Funeral services for Mr. Lagasse will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 11:00am at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
