WATERBURY - Mr. Ronald E. Hampston age 82 of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 24th 2014 at Saint Mary's Hospital.
Ronald was born February 27, 1932 in Waterbury the son of the late Frank and Mildred (Horton) Hampston. He was educated in local schools and proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Ronald worked as a Quality Control Inspector for several area companies including Eyelematic in Waterbury. Ron was always working with his hands a true "jack of all trades" always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. He was an animal lover and had several pets.
Among his survivors are his longtime companion, Lillian Wright and close friends Charles and Elizabeth Real all of Waterbury.
Funeral services for Mr. Hampston will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Eastside Memorial, "A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
