Mr. Ronald Pirone

WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Pirone, age 69 of Waterbury, share news of his peaceful passing on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Vitas Inpatient Unit of St Mary’s Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

Ronald also known as “Ron” or “Ronnie” was born on May 06, 1955, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Gabrielle (Pelletier) Pirone and the late Louis Pirone. He was a paper boy in his younger years, then after graduating high school Ron went on to work for the Courtyard by Mariott in Waterbury for over 20 years. Ron took pleasure in watching Old Western Movies, was a football fan cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, listening to rock and roll music, enjoyed his trips to Costco, and lived on Dunkin Donuts coffee. However, what truly meant the most to Ron was spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to love and know him.

Left to honor his memory, besides his beloved mother, Gabrielle, are his daughter, Felicia Pirone and her fiancé Chris, his sister, Judy Pirone, his niece, Chantelle Burauskas, Felicia’s brother, Eric Fuegen, along with extended family and friends. Ron was predeceased by his sister, Marie Burauskas.

Funeral services for Mr. Pirone will be held on Thursday, March 20, at 12:00 noon at Casey- O’Neill Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 742 Main Street, Oakville, CT. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with the Pirone family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon.
