WALLINGFORD- It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronna (Fitzgerald) Capozzi, age 74 of Ashlar Village, Wallingford, share the news that she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 at Midstate Hospital in Meriden. She was the widow of the late Michael J. Capozzi for 50 amazing years. 

Ronna was born on July 9th, 1950 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph Thomas and Bettye (Cunningham) Fitzgerald. Born and raised in Waterbury, Ronna went to local schools and received her bachelor's degree at Mount Saint Mary College in NY. Ronna dedicated her career to culinary education, shaping the lives of many students over the years. She cherished evenings spent playing bingo, card games, and days on the golf course and by the beach. Ronna's warm spirit and love for her family and friends will always be remembered.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother-in-law, Anthony Capozzi of Waterbury and several generations of nieces and nephews.
