OAKVILLE - Rosanne (Devine) Saunders, age 74, passed away peacefully at Litchfield Woods on Saturday, March 17, 2018 after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of John Saunders.
Rosanne was born on September 1, 1943 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Gillette) Devine. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially the time she shared with her grandchildren. Rosanne was a member of the Watertown Drum Corps and always looked forward to marching with them at different events throughout the state.
Besides her husband John of 56 years, Roseanne is survived by her daughter, Annmarie Pecka and her husband David of Watertown, her son, John Saunders Jr. and wife Michelle of New Hartford, and Gretchen Saunders of Waterbury. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Devine and his wife Dottie of Florida, her sister Sheila Harding and husband Edwin of New Hampshire, as well as eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Kristen Saunders.
Funeral services for Mrs. Saunders will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00am in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
