THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ROSINO CAPOBIANCO

BRISTOL, CT - Rosino Capobianco, age 88 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center in Bristol after an extended illness. She was the widower of her first husband Dominick V. Zarrella, and her second husband David LeMay.

Rosino was born February 5, 1929 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Marino) Capobianco. Rosino was a loving and dedicated mother who devoted herself to her family but also kept herself busy by volunteering for various organizations such as NOW Inc. of Waterbury where she would assist the elderly in getting rides to appointments and grocery shopping. She was a Notary Public and for a short time she worked as a bartender and hairdresser. Rosino was a talented knitter and also enjoyed crocheting. She would make blankets and throws as gifts and enjoyed sharing them with friends and family. Many of them were donated to churches for raffles and others were given out as baby shower gifts or wedding gifts. She enjoyed singing while she resided at Sheriden Woods and was a history buff and was a great story teller.

Among her survivors are her children; Dominick Zarella of Surprise, AZ and Rose Colella and her husband, Rodney of Bristol as well as her grandchildren, David Luth and his wife, Kate of Plainville, Stephanie Luth and her husband, Paul of Somers. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her five brothers and three sisters.

Burial services for Mrs. Capobianco will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. Relatives and friends may visit with her family at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT on Wednesday, January 24th 2018 from 4:00 - 6:00pm.
