CHESHIRE - Ryder James Kingsley age 38, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Yenny R. Villar-Kingsley
Ryder was born December 29th 1979 in Stamford, CT, the son of the late James Kingsley and Trudy Karahalios of Waterbury. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School and received his bachelor's degree from Lynchburg College where he was a member of the Delta Lota Kappa fraternity. Ryder spent several years working for Diageo as a Supply Chain Manager and more recently for Dannon Co. as a Demand Planner. He enjoyed golfing and was a motorcycle and sports enthusiast as well as a Giants, and Yankees fan. What brought Ryder the greatest joy and what he was most passionate about was his family, especially his beloved children whom he adored and loved to spend time with.
Besides his wife, Yenny of 8 years and his mother, Trudy and her husband John; Ryder is survived by his children: Jameson, Sophia, and Emma as well as his step mother, Mary Kingsley of Guilderland, NY his siblings: Bryan Kingsley of Chicago, Jennifer Kingsley of Clifton Park, NY. Jaime Ralston and her husband, Sean of Guilderland, NY. Lauren and Jessica Karahalios of FL. and his sister in-law Cati Avila and her husband Carlos. In addition he also leaves his cousin, Jack Graves several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and close friends.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Kingsley will be on Saturday, March 3rd at 5:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St. @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with Ryder's family on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00pm at the funeral home.
