THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF SALLY A. DUNNIGAN
WATERBURY - Sally A. Dunnigan, age 56 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary's Hospital on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, after a brief illness. She was the fiancee of Carlos Gutierre.
Sally was born Dec. 4, 1964, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sally (Kerwin) Dunnigan. She was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and worked for many years as a CNA at the Southbury Training School. Sally was a longtime volunteer at the God Provides Ministries, a group dedicated to the homeless population. At the time of her passing, Sally was a member of Waterbury Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Left to honor Sally's love and legacy, besides her fiance, Carlos, are her brother, Joe Dunnigan and his wife Denise, of Wolcott; her sister, Patricia Petrovich and her husband John, of New Port Richey, Fla. She also leaves her beloved niece Nichole Marvin and her husband Adam, and their daughter Caitlan; as well as her nephew Aaron Ibrahimi and niece Brydie Dunnigan Santos. She was predeceased by her sisters Maryann and Barbara Dunnigan, and her great-nephew Christopher Marvin.
A graveside service for Ms. Dunnigan will be on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. in All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
