THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF SALVATORE BOIANO.

Salvatore Rocco Boiano, 92, entered into the Eternal Gates of Heaven on Thursday, March 25th 2021. He was the loving husband of Theresa (Gentile) Boiano.

Sal was born in Waterbury on September 3rd, 1928. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Angelina (Ciarlo) Boiano. Sal was a lifelong Waterbury resident and graduated from Leavenworth High School. Shortly after, Sal joined the U.S. Navy where he proudly served his Country during the Korean War Conflict. After returning home to Waterbury, Sal along with his brothers Tom and Jim, who predeceased him, founded Boiano Brothers which later became Suburban Automotive in Prospect for over 25 years. After leaving the Automotive Business, Sal became an Insurance agent where he met many dear and loyal customers until his retirement. He was a very kind and generous man who always put others before himself. He was a true gentleman. He had an infectious smile, always telling a joke to make people laugh wherever he went. Sal had a deep faith in God and many will remember him as a lifelong Parishioner and Usher of Saints Peter and Paul Church. Sal was a diehard Mets fan from the very beginning and took his family to many games. A memory that the family will always cherish. His favorite hobby was bowling at Lakewood Lanes, where he was in many leagues for years. Sal was a very devoted husband and father, who with his loving wife raised 7 children in the City's East End and was happiest spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He will be so dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor Sal's legacy and treasure his memories, besides his wife Theresa of 66 years, are his sons; Robert and his wife Rose, Paul and his wife Kathy, Richard and his wife Georgette, James, Daniel and his wife Savannah. His daughters, Joan Isaacs, Lisa Palmieri and her husband Michael. His 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
