NEW HARTFORD - Sara L. Desrochers, age 34 of New Hartford, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family in her home on Monday, September 3, 2018.after a long illness.
Sara was born January 7, 1984 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of Jeannette Crandall and Mark Desrochers. She attended local schools and graduated from Northwestern Regional High School. Sara had a love for gardening and worked in the family greenhouse for years, watering and planting all types of flowers. Sara also enjoyed watching TV, playing bingo and listening to music. Sara will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Sara leaves Jeannette and Gary Crandall with whom she made her home, Mark Desrochers, and her sister, Nicole Desrochers. She also leaves her paternal grandmother, Theresa Desrochers and her best friend, Kristen Chaney whom she spent countless hours with. She also leaves several cousins and extended family members.
Funeral services for Sara will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St Waterbury at 11:00 a.m. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Sara's family on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd, Waterbury 06705.
