THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF SEAN MORAN

WATERBURY CT - Sean David Moran age 49 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2019.

Sean was born on November 6, 1969 in Waterbury, the son of Barbara (Jones) and the late James Moran. He attended local schools as well as Southern CT State University. He was employed as a Sales Consultant for FUELRITE LLC of Woodbury for several years and enjoyed a close friendship with their manager, Dave Gustafson. Although Sean had a smile on his face for everyone and that Irish humor to go along with it, he fought very hard, but in spite of his best efforts, lost his battle with depression and alcoholism. Although his family mourns his loss, they believe he is at peace with God. Sean was of course a Boston Red Sox and NE Patriots fan. He loved all sports. His love for golf started when he was a caddy as a teenager at the Waterbury Country Club and continued his whole life along with tennis. His greatest joy was his children and supporting their athletic activities, encouraging their participation in everything. He attended almost every activity his son and daughter took part in. Needless to say his cheers were the loudest.

Besides his mother of Woodbury, Sean leaves his partner, Tamara "Tammie" Lee of Waterbury, his son, Aidan Moran of Attleboro MA, his daughter, Emma Riley Moran of Waterbury, his brothers; Michael Moran and his fiancé, Nancy Brault of Madison CT, Kevin Moran and his wife, Kathi of Middlebury, his sisters; Christine Moran of Farmington CT, Elizabeth Fleming of Woodbury, Alison Smith and her husband, Thomas of Edgartown MA and Courtney El-Bezzani of Orange Park FL. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Additionally, he leaves behind a large family of friends, especially Mike DeSena, Kevin McCarthy, Michele Kaczmarek and his large Wilby family.

Funeral services for Mr. Moran will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019, when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St., on the Green in Waterbury at 10:00 a.m. His relatives and many friends are invited to attend. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. A "Celebration of Life" for Sean will be held at a future date and time. To honor Sean's memory donations to the Harold Leever Cancer Center, Waterbury, CT in his name would be appreciated. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury has been honored to assist the Moran family with these arrangements.
