Loving Son, Father, and Fiancé
WATERBURY - Sebastian Olavarria age 28 of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly, the victim of a tragic incident on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
Sebastian was born on February 8th, 1994 in Danbury, CT, the son of Luis Olavarria and Carmen Viggiano. Sebastian was raised in Waterbury and was a graduate of Crosby High School, Class of 2012 and was studying criminal justice at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Sebastian worked as a warehouse distributor for BJ’s Wholesalers and enjoyed playing baseball while in Middle School and on the Crosby Varsity High School team. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved to dance. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and for his devotion to his family as well as his beautiful smile that will be greatly missed. He was always happiest when spending time with his children.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his parents; Luis and Carmen, his children; Santana Olavarria, and Alexalie Sepulveda, his fiancé, Leslie Sepulveda, his brothers; Gilberto, Richard, and Luis Olavarria Jr as well as his sister, Jarilyn. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins, friends, and other extended family members.
Graveside services for Mr. Olavarria will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00am at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Rd Waterbury. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the Olavarria family on Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St Waterbury @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
