AT THE O'NIELL FUNERAL HOME
Morris CT -Mr. Shelton A. Overbaugh age 89, of East Street, Morris, died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Frances (Spina) Overbaugh.

Mr. Overbaugh was born November 2nd 1921 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Shelton and Catherine (Sumner) Overbaugh. He was raised and educated in the Oakville area and proudly served his country in the United Sates Navy as an Aviation Machinist's Mate, Third Class during WWII. Shelton worked as a Parts Manager for the former M.J. Cozy and Wes Cadillac in Waterbury for many years before his retirement. His hobbies included tracking the Overbaugh family genealogy, photography, music and spending time growing and maintaining his flower garden. He was also an avid Redsox fan.

Besides his wife of 38 years, he is survived by his two children: his son, Don Overbaugh of Santa Maria CA. and his daughter, Shelley Ciriello of Bethlehem. He also leaves his nephews James, David, and William as well as several grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his two brothers, Howard (Bud) Overbaugh and Walter Overbaugh.

Funeral Services for Mr. Overbaugh will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11am. Burial with full military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Watertown.
