AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - TORRINGTON - Sherrill Kathleen (Manzara) Markham age 62 of Willow Gardens died September 25, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert E. Markham.
Sherrill was born November 24, 1948 in Meriden, a daughter of the late Vincent and Virginia (Meyer) Manzara and lived in Torrington for the past four years, having moved from Thomaston where she lived most of her life. She was educated in Meriden Schools. Prior to her retirement, Sherrill was employed in the housekeeping division at Valerie Manor Convalescent Home; she had also worked at Torrington Special Products.
Besides her husband of Torrington, she leaves two daughters; Tammy Markham and her husband Chuck Sommerfeldt of Torrington, Deanna Markham and her husband Harry Rogers of Nightdale, NC., two brothers John Manzara of Waterbury, Bruce Manzara of Durham, a sister Vanessa Schmaltz of Middlefield, and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Lynn Manzara.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Robert E.
