BEACON FALLS - Shirley J. Walker age 61of Beacon Falls, formerly of Naugatuck, Watertown and Prospect died October 19, 2013 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the beloved fiancée of Mark Bradshaw who passed away thirteen years ago.
Shirley was born October 13, 1952 in West Virginia, a daughter of the late James W. and Betty (Stauers) Walker Sr. and lived in Beacon Falls for the past five years. She was educated in Bridgeport schools and worked as a manufacturing supervisor for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, but found her greatest joy joking and playing with her grandson JJ. She will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor.
Besides her daughter Melissa Toupin-Ryan, with who she made her home, Shirley leaves one brother Jimmy and three sisters Ruth, Linda and Kathy along with her grandson JJ.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of her family. Friends and family may visit with Shirley's family on Wednesday October 23, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main Street Oakville, CT 06779.
