Waterbury - Ms. Sidney Galanti age 61, of Waterbury, died January 15, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of Saint Mary's Hospital after an extended illness.
Sidney was born March 22, 1951 in Red Jacket, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Wallace E. and Thelma (Ammons) Milam.
Among her survivors are her sons, Vincent and Justin Galanti of Waterbury, her sisters, Connie Lush, and Judith Bonacassio both of Waterbury, and her brother , Jeffery Milam of Waterbury. She also leaves her grandchildren; Tamara, Brittany, Jonathan and Chrissy and her great grandson, Damian Galanti, whom she adored.
Funeral services for Ms. Galanti will be held Tuesday, January 22, 10:00 am. at EASTSIDE MEMORIAL, A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center, 1987 East Main St at Southmayd Rd.
