WOLCOTT- Stanley Dolecki age 77, passed away in the comfort of his home in Wolcott, surrounded by the love and care of his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann (Bellemare) Dolecki.

Stanley was born in Washington DC on February 2, 1944, the only child of the late Stanley and Wanda (Czahorowski) Dolecki Sr. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era. Stanley and Ann have lived in Wolcott since 1973. He retired from New England Masonry in Naugatuck and then became a full-time companion for one of the loves in his life, Mya a 6-year-old Havanese. Stanley was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club, where he would go pheasant hunting with his English Springer Spaniels, he adored so much, Lucky and P.J. His love for fishing began as a child where he vacationed yearly at Henry's Sportsman Inn on Lake Champlain in South Alburgh, VT. Following in his father's footsteps, Stan was able to continue this legacy with his own children and family making lifelong friends and memories to be cherished eternally. Stanley also enjoyed playing set back with family and friends.

Stanley will be most remembered for his soft-spoken words, witty humor and compassion for all he loved and cared about. The family wishes to send a special thank you and acknowledge Dr. Delucia, VITAS Hospice Home Care, and Stanley's private caregivers: Kristen Finkenzeller, Elaina May, Tish Irizarry and Brianna Deleo for the care and compassion shared with Stanley making it possible to spend his last years in his own home.
