Waterbury ?" Stanley J. Nabozny, age 52, of Bunker Hill Ave. Waterbury, died Tuesday at Saint Mary's Hospital, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He was the husband of Debra Plasky Nabozny.
Mr. Nabozny was born September 19th 1957 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Joanne (Carey) Hasemann and the late Walter Nabozny. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and worked as a carpenter for many years at the Oakville Pin Shop. He was an avid motorcycle and Harley Davidson enthusiast, a jack-of-all-trades and loved to spend time in the Florida Keys fishing. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and family especially his best bud, Cameron.
Besides his wife and mother, Stanley is survived by his son, Stanley Jr., his four daughters Jennifer, Suzy, Stacey, and Sandee, his brothers, Joe and Hans, his sisters Sandra, Maria, and Tammy, and his grandson Cameron, his step father Gunther Hasemann as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass for Stanley will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins St Waterbury Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements.
