AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Stella (Kasica) Belz age 91 of Middlebury Road, Watertown, died Saturday at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Louis Belz.
Stella was born December 8, 1917 in Derby, a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Kasica and lived in Watertown since 1940. She attended secretary school and worked for many years as secretary at Scovill Manufacturing. She was a communicant of Saint John the Evangelist Church. Stella was an avid bridge player, seamstress and quilter who volunteered at the Watertown Library and also worked in the gift shop at Waterbury Hospital.
She leaves a daughter Roseanne B. Withington of Clayton, NY., two brothers John and Edward Kasica, two sisters Ann and Jean Kasica, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
