WATERTOWN - Stuart Edmond age 68, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after an extended illness On Saturday January 1st 2022. He was the beloved husband of Cindy (Russell) Edmond.
Stuart was born March 4th 1953 in Danbury, CT, the son of the late Stanley and Jean (Matthews) Edmond He grew up in Bethel, CT. and spent many years working as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Commercial Truck Driver for various construction companies throughout CT. One of Stuart's favorite things to do was to go bass fishing. He was a avid LA Raiders fan and also enjoyed watching TV. There was nothing more important to Stuart than his family and was always happiest while spending time with them especially his grandchildren.
Left to honor his memory and cherish his legacy are his sons, Stuart Edmond Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Danbury, and Chad Edmond and his wife, Nicole of Harwinton. Stuart and Cindy were blessed with 5 grandchildren: Tommy, Alexa, Kyle, Chad Jr and Alyse which all meant the world to him. He also leaves his sisters; Coarinda Deitz of New Preston, Jocelyn Russell of New Milford and Susan Kashimba of Bethel. He was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Edmond and his sister, Kristen Edmond Russell.
