WOLCOTT – Stuart H. Walling, age 57 of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 11, 2022. He was the husband of Margaret “Maggie” (Tracy) Walling.
Stuart was born July 12, 1965, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Nancy (Mansfield) Labbe and the late George Walling. He was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School and worked 25 years as a chef for the State of CT. He was an avid New York sports fan.
Left to honor his memory and cherish his legacy along with his wife, Maggie, of 27 years are his children, Stuart Walling and his partner Kelly Brophy of Harwinton, and Spencer Walling of Wolcott, grandchildren, Amelia Jane and August Moon Walling, sister, Kendra Walling Schroeder and her husband Richard, of Indiana, brother, Richard Labbe and wife Connie of Watertown, mother, Nancy Mansfield Labbe and husband Robert Labbe of Woodbury, mother, Kay Walling of Waterbury, mother-in-law Joan Worgan Tracy of Middlebury, brother-in-law, Alan Tracy and his partner Julie Frantzis of Middlebury, sisters-in-law, Susan Tracy of Bethlehem, and Lynn Tracy Snyder of Middlebury as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mr. Walling will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 6:00 pm at Casey’s
Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main S Waterbury, CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.
