SUE E. (WOOD) (SCHUREN) RAYMOND
OAKVILLE- Sue E. (Wood) (Schuren) Raymond age 60 of Parkman Street died Sunday at her home. She was the wife of Douglas E. Raymond and the widow of Robert C. Schuren Sr.
Sue was born May 19, 1948 in Waterbury, a daughter of Grayson and Carolyn (Rooks) Wood and lived in Oakville most of her life. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and Bay Path Jr. College in Mass. Prior to her retirement in 2005; she was employed as a cook at the former Hickory Hill Rest Home in Woodbury and also at Watertown Convalarium. Sue loved music, art, writing poetry, the outdoors and was an avid birdwatcher.
Besides her husband of Oakville and parents of Sherwood, Wisconsin, she leaves a daughter Carie Rupf of Watertown, two step daughters Karen Bradshaw and Michelle Kinopka both of Southington, a brother Grayson Wood of RI., a sister Amy Jo Rogoff of Appleton, WI., three grandchildren Kyle Robert Lloyd of Ft. Fairfield, ME., Robert Michael Rupf Jr., Amanda Nicole Rupf both of Watertown three nieces and two nephews. She was predeceased by a son Robert Charles Schuren Jr.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday June 6, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown.
