REMEMBERING AND HONORING THE LIFE OF SUSAN E. WILLIAMS R.N.

Devoted Wife, Mother & Nurse

BETHLEHEM – Susan E. (Williams) Adomelis, age 67 of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at the LiveWell Center in Plantsville after an extended illness. She was the wife of John “Jack” Adomelis.

Susan was born March 22, 1955 in Waterbury, the only child of the late James “Don” and Marilyn (Reihl) Williams. She was educated locally; a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High and St Mary’s School of Nursing. She enjoyed many years working as a Registered Nurse, especially at Taft School in Watertown. Susan loved the outdoors whether gardening, traveling, or just walking with her friends or favorite pet. She had an enduring smile and a sharp sense of humor that was the essence of her being. She was the ultimate host who loved to arrange parties for family and friends. She was a loyal parishioner of the Prince of Peace Parish (Church of Nativity) and very active as a CCD Instructor and organizing the parish prayer line. But her family was the focus of her life and she enjoyed every minute possible with them around her. Susan lived life to the fullest, blessed by her faith, family and friends and she will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough know and love her. The family would like to express their profound gratitude and appreciation to the staff at LiveWell, where Susan was cared for with love and professionalism for seven years.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, besides her husband Jack of 44 years are her son Michael and his wife Tara of Hebron, CT. Jack and Susan were blessed with three grandchildren; Leighton, Grant and Claire - and a granddog, Ollie. She also is survived by several cousins including Rita Bendler, Arlene Pregman, Karen Reisinger, and Eileen Roberts, as well as many devoted and life long friends. Susan was predeceased by her daughter Lisa.
