Ms. Suzanne Dreas

WOODBURY – It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Suzanne Dreas, age 81, announce her unexpected passing on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at home. 

Suzanne was born on March 28, 1943 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret (Carroll) Dreas. She was a graduate of local schools and attended Elmira College where she graduated with an associate’s degree in Nursing. Suzanne worked over 40 years for American Airlines as a flight attendant and was a model in her younger years. Suzanne loved to watch the birds from her homealways making sure they were well fed, and she enjoyed tending to her gardens, reading books and newspapers. She also loved entertaining, cooking for others, and watching freighters on the St. Lawrence River in her family cottage in Alexandria Bay, New YorkWhat Suzanne truly loved the most was spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to love and know her.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children;Mark (Heather) Donaldson, and Margaret (Anthony) Felton, her grandchildren; Stephanie, William, Matthew, Carolyn, and Jeffrey. She also leaves her sister, Peggy Hunter and brother, Paul Dreas along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. 

Funeral services for Ms. Dreas will be held on Tuesday, July 09, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, St Leo the Great Church 14 Bentwood Ave Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
