WATERBURY – It is with profound sadness and overwhelming grief that the family of Tara Brennan, age 64, of Waterbury, announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Tara was born on April 21, 1959, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Mary Lou (Dwyer) Brennan. Tara loved bringing her family and friends together as the Irish Strollers for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks. Tara’s love and generosity towards others was immeasurable. She will be forever missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters; Cathy Chaikowski and her husband Dave of Wolcott, Marcia Jolly of Waterbury, Marita Brennan and her fiancé Reggie Lombard of Watertown and Sheila Brennan of Waterbury. She also leaves her nieces and nephews Jennifer and her husband John, Michael and his wife Alyssa, Christopher and his girlfriend Patty, Lauren, Nicole, her great-nephews Logan, Jayce, Jaxson and Luka and her great-nieces Violet and Lily as well as many close friends, all whom she had a special bond with and that loved her so much.
