THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF TERESA TIRINO
WATERBURY - Teresa Rita (Brites) Tirino, age 74 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Wednesday evening May 13, 2020. She was the devoted wife of Frank Tirino.
Teresa was born on June 10, 1945 in Waterbury the son of the late John and Maria (Silva) Brites. She was educated in local schools and worked initially as a hairdresser and beautician and then worked for many years at St. Mary's Hospital as a Unit Secretary until her retirement. What was the most important thing to both Frank and Teresa was their family, especially their grandchildren. Vacations together in Ocean City MD, watching them play in their high school football games or shopping with her daughter, Tracy was what life was all about for her. Teresa will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. She and Frank were loyal parishioners of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Left to remember, cherish, and honor, Teresa's love and legacy, beside her husband, Frank are her daughter, Tracy Munson and her husband, Daniel of Oakville and her son, Frank Jr and his wife, Regina of Terryville. Frank and Teresa were blessed with 6 wonderful grandchildren; Spencer, Owen, Connor, Frank, Emilee and Gia. She also leaves her beloved in laws; Arnold and Raffaella Oliver, Tony and Gioconda Dimanto, John and Brigita Tirino, Joe and Gilda Tirino and Jennie DiTirro. In addition, she leaves her dear and close friends; Vincenzo and Maria Mauriello, Jeanne Muniz, Pat Patterson, and Carmen Perucci. She also leaves a sister and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current to governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, services for Mrs. Tirino will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
