Mrs. Teressa Ann Jackson

WATERBURY – Teressa Ann Jackson, age 62, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023, at the Vitas unit of Saint Mary’s Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Mr. Derek Jackson.

Teressa will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, and special friend. She was an Elder in the church and the youth ministry at the City of Life Church.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children, son, Erick Jackson, daughters, Delilah LaBranche (Erica), and Christina Jackson (Cordell), all of Waterbury, her 13 grandchildren, Trinity Jackson, Isiah Jackson, My’Aisha Bosompra, Edward Bosompra Jr., Sahmya Jackson, Micah Jones Jr., Terane Bosompra, Leniyah Jackson, Sariah Bosompra, Erick Jackson Jr., Emir Jackson, Indiah Jackson, and Xamari Griffin. She also leaves her father, Elijah Fisher Sr., five brothers, Jerry (Monica) Fisher, Terry (Teresa) Fisher, Elijah Fisher Jr., Robert (Rona) Fisher, and Glen Fisher, her sisters-on-law, Karen Jackson-Rains, Dineen Williams, Lisa Jackson, Dawn Jackson, and Lauretta Jackson, brothers-in-law, Steven (Helen) Jackson, Richard Jackson II, Laurence Jackson, and Joseph Jackson, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Derek Jackson, her mother, Christine Fisher, grandmother, Amy Cleveland, sister-in-law, Ramona L. Jackson, and brother-in-law, Ricardo C. Brockington.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jackson will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 11:00am at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, CT 06705. Relatives and friends may visit with Teressa’s family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11. Burial will follow in the CT State Veteran’s Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
