OAKVILLE - Terry Ann ( Hayden) Johnson age 70 of Oakville was gathered up into her Heavenly Father's arms on Sunday morning, June 5, 2016 at her home surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the wife of William P. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was born on February 18, 1946 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Harold and Ann (Darigis) Hayden . She was a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School and worked for many years as a Bookkeeper. Terry was an active member of First Congregational Church of Thomaston and she enjoyed hiking, working out, bible study but most especially, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her devoted husband of 48 years, Terry leaves her two daughters; Denise Crosby and her husband Rich of Harwinton and Stacy LaPerriere and her husband, Chad of Oakville, her sister, Pat Steinackle of Bristol and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Johnson will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00pm at the First Congregational Church of Thomaston. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with Terry's family on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St. Oakville CT 06779.
