Theresa A. Ayotte

WATERBURY – It is with profound sadness that the family of Theresa Anne (Lang) Ayotte age 68 of Harwinton, share the news of her peaceful passing on February 19, 2025 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the wife of Stephen Robert Ayotte.  

Theresa was born on March 27, 1956 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, the daughter of Evelyn I. (Mettlewsky) Lang and the late Anton J. Lang. She graduated high school and had an additional year of business school where she was trained to be an executive secretary. Prior to moving to the US, she worked for many years in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, AB and while in Connecticut she worked at The Timken Company and Altek.  

Theresa was a devoted wife, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to love and know her.

 Left to cherish her memory besides her devoted husband Steve of 33 years, are her mother Evelyn Lang of Unity, SK, her sister, Carolyn Kopp and her husband Dwaine of Unity, SK and her brother Ken Lang of Tramping Lake, SK as well as several nieces and nephews.   

Funeral services for Mrs. Ayotte will be held privately at the convenience of her family at a later date in Saskatchewan.
