OAKVILLE - Theresa M. Cefaretti, age 87 of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 28, 2016 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the widow of Anthony Cefaretii who passed this past January.
Theresa was born at home in Oakville on December 16, 1928 the daughter of the late Antonio and Lena (Paternoster) Guerrera. She was educated in local schools and was a lifelong Oakville resident. She retired after many years of service at Hemingway & Bartlett Company in Watertown. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to crochet, do crossword puzzles, play cards and travel. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church and will be sadly missed by her loving family and by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnne Healy of Oakville, her three sons; Daniel and his wife, Justine of Wolcott, Michael and his wife, Susan of Egg Harbor Township NJ and Mark and his wife, Sandra of Winston-Salem NC and her 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
Funeral services for Mrs. Cefaretti will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown CT. Relatives and friends may visit with Theresa's family on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. at the funeral home.
