OAKVILLE- Theresa (Pinette) St-Onge, age 79 of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of O'Neill "Neil" St-Onge.
Theresa was born on July 22, 1940, the daughter of the late Albert and Alma (Leblond) Pinette. She spent many years by her husband's side in their auto body business always willing to help out in any way that she could. She was not only a business partner but a devoted "life" partner. What was most important to Theresa was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Theresa enjoyed her many trips to the casino as well as traveling and dancing with her husband. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. She was a longtime parishioner of St Mary Magdalen Church.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy, besides her husband of 60 years, are her children; Ricky St-Onge and his wife, Gail of Watertown, Betty Ann Nearing and her husband, Robert of Watertown, Carolyn McKenna and her husband, Steve of Oakville and Tom St-Onge of Watertown. She also leaves her devoted grandchildren, Steven, Christina, Renee, Trevor and Lindsey and her great grandchildren; Ilyana, Izaiyah, Manuel and Katherine as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. St-Onge will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 16 Buckingham St. Oakville, CT 06779. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Mrs. St-Onge's family on Friday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT 06779.
